Dash 4 Dignity is at work in our community to put an end to modern-day slavery!
The Dash 4 Dignity 5K Run & 1K Freedom Walk at Heritage is an annual charity race held in Severn, MD to raise awareness of human trafficking and human exploitation in Maryland, DC and Virginia.
The 6th Annual Dash 4 Dignity will be held on Saturday, April 27th 2019. Events include:
5K Run/Walk, 1K Freedom Walk, & Community Resource Fair.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children along with other state and local organizations will provide information about ways to keep our people, especially children and youth, safe as well as how to recognize and report signs of exploitation. Proceeds from this year's event will be donated to these organizations: National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Drink at The Well, a local outreach in Maryland.

MODERN-DAY SLAVERY, ALSO KNOWN AS HUMAN TRAFFICKING, IS NOT ONLY ALIVE, BUT THRIVING ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. MARYLAND, IN PARTICULAR ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY WHERE THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD, IS A TOP AREA IN THE US FOR SEX TRAFFICKING.
